About
I am an opera and Broadway veteran that has performed on some of the world’s most respected opera stages, concert halls, and Broadway houses (including the 2003 Tony Awards, broadcast worldwide).
I completed my Master's Degree of Music in Operatic Vocal Performance from the prestigious Manhattan School of Music in New York City and my Bachelor's Degree of Music in Vocal Performance from the University of North Texas. I have had the privilege of studying with some of the world's most esteemed and influential teachers and singers and I bring to my students the techniques and body of knowledge that comes from working with many of the greatest singers, conductors, and stage directors of the 20th and 21st Centuries.
Amidst this roster of heavy-hitters, my most memorable education experiences have been with the teachers of my high school and college years. Inspired by their impact on my life and career, I have transitioned my focus to the young people of North Texas, where I have chosen to move and raise my own family. If I can have half the impact on my students as I received from the teachers of my youth, I will have achieved more than I could have ever dreamed.
